The Branch Trust
A Community Hub that builds hope and transforms lives
Background & Brief
In 2019, the Government published the Indices of Deprivation Report. It highlighted Chipping Norton as the most deprived neighborhood in West Oxfordshire. That year, we bought the old NatWest Bank Building. Our vision is to transform this beautiful building and give it a new purpose serving the whole community so that families, friends and neighbourhoods are free to flourish.

Our Idea
The name we chose reflects both the building’s heritage and its new purpose – a place where people can branch out, meet others, learn new skills, share ideas, find support, and feel part of something bigger. Warm, welcoming and rooted in the local community, The Branch is where new possibilities take shape and everyone has a place to grow.
Poster Campaign
A poster campaign to raise awareness of social issues in a town that many think is an idyllic Cotswold town – home to millionaires and celebrities. Nothing could be further from the truth. £6m was raised to convert the old NatWest bank in Chipping Norton into a community hub, where those needing help can find it – a building with purpose – building hope, transforming lives.
Hoardings surrounded the old building during the major conversion.
Impact
