I’ve worked across all media, straddling the analogue and digital world of design. Because I love what I do, I’ve never stop learning how to do it better. I work hard to create something special for our clients.

I believe everyone deserves high quality branding and design but not everyone can afford it , and so every year I donate 10% of my time to charitable causes, to help them flourish and grow.

Experience

After graduating from the Royal College of Art in 1978, I worked for 5 years getting to know how the design business worked, before setting up the award winning design agency Horseman Cooke, in 1983 – this later morphed into Open Agency – both top 100 UK Design Agencies.

I’ve worked with the world’s biggest brands on award winning packaging for M&S, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Boots, Seagrams and Kettle Chips, innovative print for the major banks – RBS, Drummonds, NatWest and Lloyds, websites for train companies – South West Trains and First Capital Connect and an award-winning website for The London Eye. At Open Agency we launched the largest floating exhibition in the world on Queen Mary 2 for Cunard and I even art directed Mickey Mouse for the Walt Disney Travel Company.

At Brand Cooke we specialise in branding. We’ve helped launch innovative startups with groundbreaking IP out of Oxford University, a best-selling haircare regime for Philip Kingsley, a rebrand for Britannia P&I, the worlds most prestigious protection and Indemnity shipping mutual and most recently, the branding of London North Eastern Railway (LNER).
